Stranded in regional Victoria without medication for the first time in 12 years, Scout pulls out all the psychological stops to survive the worst night of their life. An exquisite, darkly funny retelling of a harrowing mental marathon through manic withdrawal; Scout imagines life in the Middle Ages, trawls the strange crevices of the internet, makes peace with their own mediocrity and (briefly) surrenders to God. Part storytelling, part stand-up, all raw and unflinchingly real.
